The Grange
New Build

The Grange

ADIBC delivered the full structural package for a newly constructed block of 19 self-contained apartments in The Grange. The project was delivered as a full new build scheme, progressing from demolition and site clearance through to groundworks and structural completion.

Works included the formation of reinforced concrete foundations and substructure, followed by superstructure construction forming the primary load-bearing elements of the building. All stages were carried out in sequence to ensure structural accuracy and alignment with engineering specifications.

The Challenge

The project required careful coordination between demolition, groundworks and structural phases to maintain programme and ensure continuity between trades. Working within a residential setting also required controlled site operations, including deliveries, access and maintaining an organised site throughout.

Groundworks and foundation stages required close attention to sequencing and structural requirements to ensure long-term stability and accuracy of the build.

Scope of Works
  • Full demolition of existing structure and site clearance
  • Piling and groundworks
  • Reinforced concrete foundations and substructure
  • Superstructure construction forming main building frame
  • Structural coordination with engineers and building control
Outcome

The project was delivered in line with programme and structural specifications, providing a robust framework for the subsequent phases of construction.

The completed structure forms a high-quality residential block, demonstrating the ability to deliver multi-unit developments through all structural stages with consistency and control.
